‘V’ Pave conforms to both the Department for Transport “Guidance  on the use of Tactile Paving Surfaces” (DETR 1998) and British Standard BSI 7997: 2003 “Products for Tactile Surface Indicators”.

‘V’ Pave out performs all other tactile products available today in terms of cost, ease of installation and durability. 
‘V’ Pave helps service providers achieve compliance with Disability Discrimination Act (DDA).

Our tile range has been put through stringent testing in slip resistance of floorings (SATRA TM 144.1999) thus ensuring the product is of the highest quality. 

‘V’ Pave is made from a uniquely formulated system to give high durability, abrasion and skid resistance.  Supplied in 400mm x 400mm square tiles and can be adhered to concrete, asphalt and terrazzo. Standard colours are red, buff, grey and black. Tiles thickness is 8.5mm complying with DoT guidelines. 

Other colours are available subject to quantity. Colour matched adhesives are supplied and ‘V’ Pave should be cleaned using Visul Systems Nuwash solvent.

Rail platform blister surface is used by the visually impaired as a warning and to identify the location of off-street rail platforms.

Used to provide a warning and to identify the location of a pedestrian crossing point. The tile is used where a sidewalk meets a highway or where there is a lowered kerb.

The corduroy surface is to warn visually impaired people of the presence of specific hazards : Steps or the approach to on-street light rapid transit platforms.

Cycle cord surface is used on shared cycle ways and footpaths. The surface is used wherever the shared route begins / ends or crosses a carriageway.

The purpose of the guidance path surface is to guide visually impaired people along a route when the traditional cues, such as a property line or kerb edge are not available.
